Ode to the Mountains

See the mountains shrouded in mystery,
Listen as the wind whispers it’s tale,
See the brook babbling to it’s destiny,
Listen as the foxes give up a wail.
There is so much adventure,
So much to be learned,
That the mountains call to us
With a certain allure.
If you decide to go deep into the forest;
If you decide to follow the stream;
Know the work will be some of your hardest;
And yet more rewarding than you’ve ever dreamed.
Go! deep into the mountains,
Answer her sultry call,
The stories you’ll have will be countless,
And you will fondly remember them all.
